6. Analytics & Third-Party Services

We may use third-party service providers including OpenAI, Supabase, RevenueCat, Apple services, Google Analytics, Meta services, and related infrastructure providers.

These providers may process limited information on our behalf to provide app functionality, support subscriptions, analyze usage, improve reliability, detect fraud, and maintain security.

We do not sell your personal data.

7. How We Use Your Information

We use personal information to create and manage your account, provide food, body, mindset, coaching, and wellness features, personalize your app experience, support AI-assisted coaching and analysis, manage subscriptions and entitlements, improve app reliability, security, and performance, respond to support requests, detect abuse, fraud, or misuse, comply with legal obligations, document consent and legal acceptance where necessary, and protect our rights, users, and services.

We do not use your personal wellness data for third-party advertising.

8. AI Processing

Some Limento features use AI-assisted systems to generate coaching responses, food estimates, visual simulations, reflections, and wellness insights.

AI outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate for your situation. AI-generated food analysis, body-related estimates, coaching responses, and future-oriented visual simulations are estimates only and should not be treated as medical, nutritional, or professional advice.

When AI features are used, relevant user-provided information may be processed by trusted AI service providers solely to provide the requested app functionality, improve safety, and maintain reliability.

9. Data Retention

We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide Limento, maintain security, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce our terms, and support legitimate business and compliance purposes.

Different categories of data may be retained for different periods depending on the purpose, applicable law, technical requirements, and user account status.

Where we keep records to document consent or comply with legal obligations, we minimize them and, where practical, replace direct identifiers such as your user ID and email with one-way pseudonymized hashed values. These records are kept only for legal, security, and compliance purposes and are never used for analytics, marketing, personalization, or app features.

10. Account Deletion

You may request deletion of your Limento account through the app or by contacting us.

When your account is deleted, Limento deletes or de-identifies personal wellness data associated with your account, including food logs, body data, progress photos, meal photos, AI coach content, GLP-1 tracking details, and related app activity, where legally and technically appropriate.

When your account is deleted, your legal acceptance and consent records are unlinked from your account, and we may keep a single minimized compliance record to document that the relevant terms and consents were accepted. In that record, direct identifiers such as your user ID and email are stored only as one-way pseudonymized hashed values.

This retained compliance record does not contain your wellness logs, food or body data, progress or meal photos, Future You or visual scan images, AI coach conversations, GLP-1 check-in details, medication notes, or any free text you entered. We keep it only to document consent, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, enforce our Terms, or establish, exercise, or defend legal claims — never for analytics, marketing, personalization, or app features.

11. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access personal information we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate information, request deletion of your information, object to or restrict certain processing, withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, request a copy of certain information, and contact a data protection authority.

To exercise privacy rights, contact us at privacy@limento.app.

We may need to verify your identity before responding to certain requests.

12. Data Security

We use technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.

These measures may include authentication controls, access restrictions, encrypted communications, secure infrastructure providers, signed URLs for private media access, and internal access limitations.

No system can be guaranteed completely secure, and you use Limento with an understanding of this risk.

13. International Processing

Limento is operated from Norway, but we may use trusted service providers located in other countries. This means personal information may be processed in jurisdictions outside your country of residence.

Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards, contractual protections, and service provider controls to protect personal information.
